Mooi budget mes. Stevig gemaakt. Mooi handlemateriaal, wel donkerder dan op de foto. Even stroppen was ook nodig om de scherpte op punt te krijgen. Ergonomie mogelijks afhankelijk van je hand. Bij mij zit de pocket-clip zeer oncomfortabel in de hand. Hoeken zijn ook niet afgerond. Iets wat bv Civivi ook bij zijn budgetvriendelijke modellen wel voor mekaar heeft.

This is a very good budget knife. The size, weight and blade shape are perfect for everyday carry. The flat grind comes to a reasonably thin edge and cuts through most material very easily. The blade has a decent satin finish which is vertical on the bevel and horizontal on the flats. The carbon fiber looks and feels really nice too, but it is very sleek and does not provide any kind of traction. This can make the knife really slippery, especially in wet environments. Keep this in mind when choosing this as EDC. The knife came perfectly centered and was quite smooth right out of the box. You can flick it open with your thumb or do a reverse flick with your middle finger without problems. The lockup is solid at about 30% and there is no blade play in any direction. The pocket clip works well and provides a nice deep carry. You don't feel the pocket clip at all when gripping the knife. In general this is a very comfortable knife, all edges are nicely rounded off. Overall the QSP penguin is very recommendable, no matter which version you choose. This is a perfect knife for people who are new to the hobby, but seasoned collectors can enjoy it as well.
